Industries along the coast
give off poisonous fumes which eventually get dissolved in the
sea. They sometimes either dump harmful substances into the sea,
or have leaks which they do not know about. Either way, the manatees
who live in the sea suffer as a result.
Sometimes sewage and other
poisonous substances get into the sea from hotels on the coast.
